Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various environments, including commercial spaces and hotels. This position requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, ensuring that all areas are spotless and welcoming for customers and guests.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, lobbies, restrooms, and other common spaces. Carry out janitorial tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and well-maintained. Respond to customer service requests promptly and courteously. Assist with cooking duties as needed, ensuring kitchen areas are kept clean and organised. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of cleanliness. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.

Experience

Previous experience in a janitorial or commercial cleaning role is preferred. Experience in the hotel industry is advantageous but not essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and guests. A background in cooking or food preparation is a plus, contributing to overall cleanliness in kitchen areas. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
