We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced electrician to join our team in the role of a qualified electrician for our social housing projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and compliance of electrical installations within residential properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualified electrician with relevant certifications.
Extensive experience in social housing electrical work.
Proven experience in performing EICRs and inspecting electrical installations.
Proficiency in fault finding, maintenance, and installations.
Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team within specified deadlines and to project specifications.
Thorough knowledge of BS7671 (UK Wiring Regulations).
Familiarity with electronic NICEIC certification processes
Excellent understanding of health and safety practices, risk assessments, and method statements.
Leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop apprentices.
Qualifications and skills:
Essential or preferred qualifications and experience:
NVQ City & Guilds Electrical Installations, Level 3
18th Edition qualified.
Must be able to demonstrate principles of testing (test all work carried out).
Full driving licence
Own power tools
ECS Gold Card
2391 or equivalent (preferable)
