Job Summary

G&L Electrical is a small but growing electrical contractor working primarily on new build housing sites across Bristol, Gloucestershire and surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in electrical work to contribute to diverse infrastructure developments and maintenance tasks. The position requires a proactive approach to safety and quality standards, ensuring all work complies with current regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

First and second fix electrical installations on new build homes Testing, fault finding and snagging Working to drawings, specifications and site programmes Ensuring work complies with current regulations Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment Liaising with site managers and other trades where required

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and components. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools essential for electrical installations and repairs. Demonstrable electrical experience with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics. Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3). Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Valid UK driving licence is mandatory.
