Job Title: Domestic Electrician

Location: Hatfield

8 hours a day - Mon to Friday

A trusted partner to organizations operating in the public sectors are seeking a Domestic Electrician to test and inspect electrical installations within domestic properties in accordance with the 17th IEE wiring regulations, you are also required to maintain and repair installations.

You will be required to work within the prison network, and you will be based in Wakefield, this role is a 12-week temp to perm position, and you will be required to work full time 39 hours per week, there will also be a requirement to undertake out of hours call out duties as per rota requirements.

The role does require you to have a driving licence due to the location of the site, have relevant trade qualifications, and a DBS check will be required due to the nature of the building and environment you will be working in.

The duties of the Domestic Electrician will include:

Test and inspect electrical installations in domestic properties in accordance with the 17th IEE wiring regulations

Maintain and repair electrical insulations

Preplace circuits and consumer units including the full rewiring of properties

Delivery of electrical repairs and testing in both occupied and void properties

To undertake out of hours call out duties as per the rota requirements

We are looking for a Domestic Electrician with:

Relevant trade qualifications

17th edition electrical wiring regulations

City and guilds 2391 inspection and test or the equivalent C&G 2394 and 5

PAT test course

Experience within a similar role for at least 2 years

Experience of working within domestic properties

Full UK driving licence

In return you will receive a salary of between 15.95 - 18.19 depending on experience
