Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electrical work, along with excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The role may suit somebody completing or who has nearly completed their qualifications.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential and commercial properties. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Assist with the installation of CCTV systems and other IT-related electrical components as required. Adhere to health and safety regulations while working on-site.

Experience

Proven experience as an Electrician with strong electrical knowledge. Familiarity with maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques. Experience in customer service, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Knowledge of CCTV systems is advantageous but not essential. A valid driving licence is required for this position, as travel between job sites may be necessary. Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with clients and team members effectively.
