Eco Home Insulation work in-line with the [Government backed] Energy Companies Obligation (ECO) scheme to provide homeowners, landlords and tenants with FREE insulation & heating measures.

At Eco Home Insulation, we're working towards helping people lower their home heating costs through energy efficiency measures to assist in tackling fuel poverty, whilst reducing carbon emissions.

The Role

Based on the docks in Preston, Eco Home Insulation are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team.

The role will primarily consist of the installation of heating measures, Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar PV and ventilation (extractor fans/vents/PIV units etc) to domestic properties across the UK, along with ad-hoc remedial works where required. The majority of the work will be covered under the scope of Minor works certification but some new installations will be required.

As we work nationwide, travel is required with the occasional overnight stay and some flexibility in working hours is expected. Company vehicle will be provided.

Experience

The successful candidate must demonstrate good working skills and techniques, with an ability to work on your own initiative and with minimum supervision. You must also have the flexibility of other craft-based maintenance skills to meet the demand/variety of our maintenance workload.

You must have an understanding and experience of working with the Health and Safety at Work Act and ensure safe-working practices are always applied, whilst meeting high levels of customer satisfaction.

Applicants are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, but the below list of attributes are essential for potential candidates:

18th Edition certification

Previous experience in the residential sector (time served)

Great customer relation skills

Ability to drive and work away occasionally

Full UK driving license

Be proactive and able to work professionally

Experience working in team projects

Able to show drive and desire to make a daily positive impact

Be exceptionally well organised

Have fantastic time keeping

Meticulous with detail and structure

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-45,000.00 per year
