Domestic Gas Contract Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Domestic Gas Contract Manager to oversee the delivery of domestic gas servicing & maintenance. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, manage operational teams and subcontractors, and maintain excellent customer and client relationships while meeting contractual KPIs and service standards.

Main Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of domestic gas contracts, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard. Lead, support, and motivate engineers and support staff to achieve targets and performance standards. Ensure full compliance with Gas Safe regulations, health & safety legislation, and company policies. Monitor contract performance against KPIs and implement improvement measures where required Liaise with clients, tenants, and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain strong working relationships Manage budgets, resources, and schedules to deliver contracts cost-effectively Prepare reports, forecasts, and updates for senior management and clients. Oversee subcontractors, ensuring quality, compliance, and value for money. Conduct regular audits, inspections, and quality checks. Support business growth through identifying opportunities and assisting with tenders/proposals. Any other duties as reasonably required

Person Specification

Proven experience as a Contract Manager, Gas Supervisor, or similar role within the domestic gas sector. In-depth knowledge of domestic gas servicing, maintenance, and installation works. Gas Safe qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1) desirable. Strong knowledge of health & safety and statutory compliance requirements. Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills. Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and contract performance. IT literate with strong reporting and organisational skills Full UK driving licence.
