Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems in both residential settings. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment. The Heating Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring that heating systems operate efficiently and safely.

Duties

Install and maintain heating systems, including boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating. Conduct regular inspections and servicing of heating equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair faults in heating systems, using diagnostic tools as necessary. Assemble components and fixtures related to heating installations. Perform plumbing tasks as required for system installations or repairs. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Carry out heavy lifting as needed during installations or repairs. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in heating system installation or maintenance. must hold CCN1, CENTWAT, CKR1, HTR1, Competence in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to installations. Proficiency in using both power tools and hand tools effectively. A strong understanding of plumbing principles is beneficial for this role.
