Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in various technical tasks related to gas installations and maintenance. This role requires a commitment to safety and quality, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances and systems in residential and commercial properties.
Conduct thorough inspections of gas systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Assemble and plumb gas lines, ensuring proper connections and functionality.
Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks, including welding when necessary.
Perform heavy lifting as required during installation or maintenance activities.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while on-site.
This role may involve inclusion in an on-call schedule
Skills
CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1 required.
LPG, UHW & CMDDA1 desirable.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade.
Experience in carpentry is a plus, aiding in the integration of gas systems within structures.
Ability to assemble components accurately and plumb systems correctly.
Capability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily responsibilities.
