Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Domestic Engineer to undertake a variety of maintenance, repair, and organisational tasks within residential or commercial settings. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of practical skills, including carpentry, plumbing, welding, and the use of power and hand tools. This role involves ensuring that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety and functionality, contributing to a clean, safe, and efficient environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct repairs and maintenance across various systems including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components.
Operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialised machinery with precision and safety awareness.
Carry out routine inspections to identify potential issues before they develop into major problems.
Assist with installation projects requiring mechanical knowledge and technical expertise.
Maintain organised work areas and ensure all tools and materials are stored appropriately after use.
Support with commercial driving duties for transportation of equipment or materials when required.
Skills
Domestic Gas Qualification and mechanical experience
Experience with hand tools and power tools essential for diverse maintenance tasks.
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair various systems effectively..
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
