John Wright Electrical & Mechanical Services Ltd are one of the region's largest Electrical, Plumbing, Heating & Gas contractors who supply, install, commission and maintain a wide variety of services in the commercial, industrial and domestic sectors.

The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems in domestic properties. This role requires a strong mechanical attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. As our Heating Engineer you will ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.

Required Attributes/Skills:

Completion of a relevant apprenticeship; City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Heating and Plumbing, along with Gas Safe CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1, CKR1,

Solar Thermal and any ASHP/GSHP accreditation, Part L Energy Efficiency, 'Part P' electrical small works is desirable.

Unvented Qualification, WRAS, LPG & OFTEC Would be advantageous.

Substantial experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of heating systems is essential.

Substantial post qualification experience in a repair, inspection, diagnostics, maintenance and improvement is desirable.

Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Work in a safe time affective manner

Good communication skills both verbal and written, planning and organisational skills are essential.

Full UK driving licence.

Confident, well-presented and self-motivated.

Able to work individually or as part of a team.
