Job Overview:
We are seeking an honest, intelligent person to assist with all domestic house keeping jobs at Rushley Green Farm. To include cleaning, vaccuming, making beds, washing, polishing, ironing, tidying and normal general housekeeping, plus some food preparation or cooking when required. The position and hours are flexible but reliability, honesty and traditional experience is a key part.

This is a working Housekeeper / Domestic Help position rather than a company or contractor

We try to run the house as ethically and sustainably as possible and as close to organically as reasonably possible, thus traditional polish rather than modern sprays are used.

The ideal candidate will have significant traditional experience in the domestic duties required to make a house function (Cleaning, washing, ironing etc). Ideal for an experienced House Keeper wishing to have part time hours. Candidates must be reasonably local and have transport

This is a hands on position requiring reliability, care and knowledge. Working directly for and with the owners to maintain, improve, manage and care for all aspects of the owners and house.

Responsibilities:-
- cleaning, vaccuming, polishing, tidying, making beds, food preparation etc.

- Daily, weekly and seasonal jobs

- Strong understanding of effective and efficient work methods
- Sympathetic and capable use of the tools and materials provided.
- Ability to work effectively on their own and with people.

Skills:
- Personally clean and Tidy
- Ability to work effectively in a domestic environment.
- Reliable and Honest
- Capable of managing a house if required while the owners are away

Candidate must be fit and healthy, Non smokers.

This will be a rewarding and interesting position for the successful applicant.

Please note the hours are flexible but this is a position for one dedicated person not a cleaning company. Ideally two, or three days per week and 9am to 1pm ish.
