We are seeking a skilled and reliable Domestic Plumber and also a Commercial Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across a variety of commercial and residential properties. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilise a range of tools and techniques, and contribute to ensuring safe and efficient plumbing operations. Applicants must demonstrate mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with safety standards and building codes.
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialised plumbing tools to complete tasks efficiently.
Conduct inspections to identify issues with existing plumbing infrastructure and determine appropriate solutions.
Perform basic carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations or repairs.
Carry out heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during installation or maintenance work.
Assist with assembly of plumbing components for new constructions or renovations.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised following health and safety regulations.
Experience
Proven experience working as a plumber in commercial and residential settings.
Proficiency in welding techniques relevant to plumbing applications.
Skilled in using hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, pliers, and screwdrivers.
Familiarity with power tools including drills, saws, and threading machines.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to piping systems, valves, pumps, and fixtures.
Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and reading technical drawings.
Experience with carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations is advantageous.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely on-site during installation or repair projects.
