About the Role

Dalkia UK is seeking an experienced and motivated

Domestic Supervisor

to lead domestic and housekeeping services at Torness Power Station. You will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and site regulations within a highly regulated environment.



This is a hands-on supervisory role, ideal for someone who enjoys leading teams, maintaining standards, and responding proactively to operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the day-to-day delivery of domestic and housekeeping services across the station Allocate duties, manage rotas, and ensure effective staff cover Ensure cleaning schedules, methods, and procedures are consistently followed Carry out regular inspections, quality audits, and performance checks Respond promptly to service issues, complaints, or urgent cleaning requirements Ensure full compliance with health & safety, COSHH, and site-specific procedures Support, train, and motivate team members to maintain high performance standards Liaise with site management and other departments as required

What We're Looking For

Proven experience supervising or leading a domestic/cleaning team Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support staff Good communication and organisational skills Knowledge of safe working practices and health & safety requirements A proactive, reliable, and professional approach Ability to work effectively in a secure and regulated environment
