We are currently recruiting on behalf of a care home in Brynseincyn who are currently looking for a Domestic/Cleaner to join the team.

Job overview;

To provide cleaning services within the organisation in accordance with agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations and in line with accepted best practices.

Responsibilities and duties;

The Domestic/Cleaner's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of cleaning implementation and delivery

Implement action to meet and maintain cleaning standards

Evaluate standards of cleaning competence

Ensure the individuals' rights are protected

Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals supported by the service

Other duties;

Other duties and responsibilities to be undertaken may include any (or all) of the items in the following list:

Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth

Working in the in-house laundry. Ensuring the residents clothes, bedding are washed and dried. Kept in the resident's rooms appropriately

Personal and professional development;

Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by management

Take responsibility for own professional development through performance and development reviews and undertake any relevant training

To maintain cleaning skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may, from time to time, be required in order to maintain that currency of practice.

Essential;

Ensure accurate, legible cleaning schedules are kept and maintained

To communicate effectively with individuals and their visitors

Working hours;

5 days over a 7-day period, 07.30-16.00

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.60 per hour

Driving Licence (preferred)
