Join our dynamic team of staff to support women who have experienced Domestic & Sexual Abuse.

Would you like to work within a trauma informed team to provide crisis intervention and support to women. If you are compassionate and emotionally intelligent with a passion for supporting women who have experienced domestic & sexual abuse, we'd like to hear from you. On a daily basis our staff tangibly contribute to raising hope, empowerment, choice and opportunities that actively promote women and children in reaching their full potential as individuals and active participants in their community. Our service, models the belief that we all have the potential to make positive changes, leading to meaningful and purposeful lives.

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:

To support and empower women, and their children, using Women's Aid services who have experienced domestic/sexual abuse and violence (and other forms of violence against them), to make their own decisions. This may involve taking appropriate action to enable them to remain in their own home safely or seeking alternative refuge accommodation.

To undertake Risk Assessment and Risk Management procedures for all women using our services

To provide a range of intervention and support processes and programmes for women who have been living with the impact of domestic/sexual violence and abuse.

Job Types: Fixed term contract, Part-time
Contract length: 48 months

Pay: 13.76-14.21 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
