We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of care plans, and the ability to work effectively within a team. A valid driving licence is preferred for this position, as it may involve travelling to clients' homes.
Duties
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour to senior staff.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes effectively.
Requirements
Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficiency in IT applications related to care documentation is advantageous.
A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential.
