We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidates will provide high-quality care to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will assist with daily living activities, support care plans, and promote a positive environment for all residents. A valid driving licence is essential for this role, as transportation will be required for home care visits.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support residents in daily living activities, including meal preparation and feeding Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in care practices

Skills

Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with residents and colleagues Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately Proficiency in IT for maintaining records and documentation A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation purposes Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities
