Job Overview

We are seeking A Male compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in both home care and care home settings. Your primary focus will be on assisting individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting their independence. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others. Driving is Essential for this role.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support individuals in maintaining their daily routines and adhering to care plans. Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions to the healthcare team. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for patients. Drive patients to appointments or social activities as required. Maintain accurate records of care provided and assist with IT systems for documentation purposes. Ensure a clean and safe environment for all patients by adhering to health and safety protocols.

Skills

Experience in home care or care home settings is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting patients when necessary. Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes. A compassionate nature with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.30 per hour
