Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide high-quality support to individuals in need of assistance, particularly in a home care or senior care environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to follow care plans while demonstrating leadership qualities. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering both physical and emotional support.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Drive clients to appointments or social outings as required, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport. Supervise other staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of care are maintained. Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel. Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to develop and follow detailed care plans tailored to individual client needs. Leadership qualities that enable effective supervision of other caregivers or support staff. Experience in senior care or working within a home care setting is highly desirable. Proficiency in IT systems for maintaining client records and documentation is an advantage. A valid driving licence is preferred .
