We are seeking dedicated and experienced Domiciliary worker to support our Male client within their own home in Brewood, Staffordshire. The role involves assisting with daily activities and ensuring the well-being of patients under the supervision of our clinical team. Client suffered a stroke and now lives with the after effects of this. jejunostomy in place for meds and nutrition overnight. Client is also able to eat & drink orally, however must be supervised as at risk of aspiration. There is a dog in the home and also smoking is present.

Shift pattern

To cover shifts:

Tuesday, Friday 11am-14:30pm

Wednesday, 6am-7am and 7pm-8pm

Thursday, 6am-7am

Sunday, 6am-7am, 11am-14:30pm and 7pm-8pm.

Pay

: 13.50 per hour plus mileage paid at 32p per mile

Responsibilities

- Encourage client to maintain good personal hygiene

- Assisting with daily living, support to remain independent
- Assist in the implementation of care plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Monitor and report changes in patient health status to the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient activities and progress

-Working as part of a dedicated client care team

-Promote and support independence

-Promote and support use of equipment to maintain independence and mobility.

Skills

- Proficiency in IT systems for record-keeping purposes
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to drive is essential due to shift times & client support requirements
- Familiarity with creating and implementing care plans for patients
