Domiciliary Care Assistant - Danygraig Domiciliary Care - Bridgend & Porthcawl

Pay:

12.70 per hour + 12.21 paid travel time + 35p/mile mileage

Contract:

Permanent | Full-Time or Part-Time

Shifts:

07:00-15:00 and/or 15:00-22:30 | Weekends on rota

Driving essential - own car required

We are recruiting dedicated Domiciliary Care Assistants to visit and support individuals across Bridgend and Porthcawl. If you're someone who values independence, dignity, and building meaningful relationships, this role allows you to make a positive impact every day.

We cover the Country of Bridgend Borough Council:

Cornelly, Pyle, Kenfig Hill, Cefn Cribwr, Laleston, Porthcawl, Ton Kenfig, Bridgend Town, Brackla

What the Role Involves

You'll travel between clients' homes to provide:

Personal care such as washing, dressing, or toileting Assistance with meals, drinks, and general wellbeing Mobility support, safe movement, and medication prompts Companionship and emotional reassurance Accurate note-taking after each visit
You'll work independently out in the community but always have support from the office and on-call team.

What You'll Need

A caring, patient, and respectful attitude Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle Previous care experience (essential) Ability to work alternate weekends Reliability and strong communication skills
