Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own home care environments along with accompanying them to outings or appointments if their care plan allows. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for clients through personalised care and support. Previous experience in senior care, dementia, Alzheimer's, paliative care is highly desirable but full training will be given. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while developing valuable skills within the caring profession.

Duties

Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility to promote independence and dignity Support with medication administration in accordance with prescribed guidelines Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements Engage clients in social activities and behavioural management strategies to foster well-being Provide specialised care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's or Parkinsons disease Support with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment Facilitate transportation for appointments or outings using personal or company vehicle (driving required) Monitor health status and report any concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members

Skills

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Excellent communication skills, demonstrating empathy and patience Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for client mobility or equipment handling Competence in meal preparation tailored to specific dietary needs Valid driving licence for transportation duties
