Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing high-quality care to individuals in various settings, including group homes, assisted living facilities, and home health environments. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, monitoring their health and well-being, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Duties

Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, medication administration, and mobility support. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and laundry. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs and document progress accurately. Support clients with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or memory care as needed. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing home or hospice care is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR is essential; certification is a plus. Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and assessment of needs. Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential for building rapport with clients. Experience in social work or long-term care settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
