Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker (DRIVERS ONLY) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including Domiciliary and care homes. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their overall well-being.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Help with meal preparation and feeding as required. Administer first aid when necessary and monitor clients' health conditions. Assist with mobility as needed to ensure client safety. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients at all times. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel. Support behaviour management strategies for clients with specific needs.

Requirements

Previous experience in homecare or similar is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of first aid practices is highly desirable. Ability to perform moving and handling, and assist clients with mobility challenges. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. A valid driving licence is required. A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others is essential for success in this position.
