You will be supporting with

Key responsibilities include:

1. Assist service users, who need support with personal care includes shower, changing clothe, bed bath and using toilet.

2. Assist or prompt the service users in medication administration.

3. Assist the service users with mobility issues and other physical disabilities, to use any equipment's to support them for daily routine, incontinence support etc.

4. Assist or prompt the service users to do their laundry and ironing always try to involve them into the task where ever possible.

5. Accompany clients for any medical appointments and day centres.

6. Create an environment to promote mental and physical abilities for service users by conversations, supporting them for recreational activities, assisting to fulfil their hobbies, watching favourite programmes with them etc.

7. Assist with general task includes cleaning, hovering, cleaning the commode after use, change of beddings.

8. To carry out the 'wellbeing checks' on each visit to the service users and update on the Birdie app if any concerns do raise it to the line manager or care coordinator.

9. Join in staff and resident meeting if needed to discuss about any changes in care plan and also when requested to provide suggestion to improve the quality of care and to write reports, morning and afternoon - as appropriate (LogMyCare system).

10. To conduct and adhere to all policy and procedures within the home (all found in the Staff Handbook and Safety Handbook) with regard to health and safety of self and others. To report any problems with regards to residents in the home.

11. To ensure safe working systems, agreed company practices and, Policy and Procedures. This can be further found on 'QCS'.

12. Ensure to implement and supervising good care practices to deliver the Care Plans and reviews.

13. An NVQ Level 2 in Care, or willingness to attain this qualification is essential.

14. To maintain the service user's documentation and reporting to the line managers.

15. Be responsible for deliver the person-centred care plan.

16. Providing an outstanding service which is safe, caring, responsive, effective and well-led

To achieve this, full training is provided in all aspects of care, meaning that no previous experience in care is necessary.

12.85 - 15 per hour depending on experience.
