Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team in Leintwardine. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional care and support to our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while aligning with our mission of community service.

Responsibilities

Provide direct personal care and support to clients in their homes. Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Support clients with mobility and physical tasks as needed. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction. Uphold confidentiality and adhere to GDPR regulations.

Qualifications - Care certificate, NVQ 2, or 3 an advantage

Proven experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred BUT not necessary as we can provide all training. Certification in First Aid and is preferred. Knowledge of Alzheimer's and dementia care is a plus. Strong communication skills and empathy towards clients. Ability to assist with activities for daily living effectively. Familiarity with medication administration protocols is beneficial. portable DBS beneficial
