We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing and independence of clients through personalised care and support. Duties



Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility Support with medication administration in accordance with care plans Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional wellbeing Manage behaviour effectively, especially in clients with dementia or Alzheimer's care needs Provide specialised care for clients requiring hospice or palliative support Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment Support clients with transportation needs, including driving them to appointments or social activities Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and client progress

Skills



Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments Knowledge of patient care practices, including dementia, Alzheimer's, and hospice care Strong caregiving skills with a focus on senior and child care as needed Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for mobility assistance or transfers First aid certification and ability to respond calmly in emergency situations Excellent communication skills and compassionate demeanour Reliable driving licence for client transportation duties Organisation skills for meal preparation, medication management, and activity planning Behaviour management techniques for clients with behavioural challenges or dementia-related conditions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
