Job Overview


We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in their own home care environments. Responsibilities



Provide personalised patient care, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support Support clients with medication administration and health monitoring in accordance with care plans Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met Engage with clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being Manage behaviour effectively, especially in cases involving dementia or Alzheimer's care Support clients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary, using proper techniques for safety Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, maintaining safe driving practices Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to supervising staff Uphold health and safety standards, including first aid procedures when needed

Experience



Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home care environments is highly desirable Experience in care is welcome but not essential -- full e learning and shadowing training provided Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, and senior care practices is advantageous Experience with medication administration and behaviour management techniques preferred Familiarity with caregiving duties such as meal preparation, child care, and heavy lifting is beneficial Valid driving licence is an asset for roles involving client transportation Certification in first aid or related health and safety training is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-19.50 per hour
