Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort and well-being. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, whether in a home care setting, assisted living facility, or hospice environment.

Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Administer medication and monitor health conditions as required. Carry out light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment. Assist with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary. Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.

Skills

Experience in home care, childcare, or patient care is highly desirable. Knowledge of first aid and basic nursing skills is an advantage. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical mobility. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Familiarity with hospice care practices is beneficial but not essential. Valid driving licence preferred for transporting clients when required.

This position if for night shift, 10 - 15 per hour depending if its a sleep in night or a waking night, you must be able to work in the burton on Trent, Swadlincote's, Tamworth, derby & surrounding areas.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 100.00-150.00 per day

Expected hours: 8 - 60 per week
