Job Description
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Assistants to support clients living independently in their own homes across the S42 area. The role involves delivering high-quality, person-centred care with professionalism, empathy, and respect.
Key Responsibilities (Domiciliary Care Tasks)
You will be expected to carry out a range of tasks, depending on each client's individual care plan, including:
Personal Care
Assistance with washing, bathing, showering, and grooming Support with dressing and undressing Toileting support and continence care Safe moving and handling
Medication Support
Prompting or assisting with medication Recording medication taken in line with company procedures
Meal Preparation & Nutrition
Preparing meals, snacks, and drinks Supporting clients to maintain healthy eating and hydration
Household Tasks
Light cleaning and tidying Laundry and changing bedding Assisting with household organisation
Community Support
Escorting clients to appointments Supporting with shopping or errands (where required)
Companionship
Providing emotional support and friendly conversation Encouraging hobbies, activities, and social engagement
Record Keeping
Accurate completion of visit logs, care notes, and reporting any concerns
What We're Looking For
A caring, patient, and positive attitude Reliability and good time-keeping Ability to work broken shifts Willingness to travel between client homes in the S42 area Experience in care is beneficial but not essential; full training can be provided
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: 12.82-14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
