Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in need of care. This role is essential in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients, receiving home care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience in various areas such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and hospice care. Mileage paid. Clients will be located in the Norfolk and Waveney area.

Duties

As a Caregiver, your responsibilities will include:

Providing personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Administering medication as prescribed and monitoring clients for any changes in condition. Assisting with meal preparation and ensuring proper nutrition for clients. Supporting clients with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary. Engaging clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship. Implementing behaviour management techniques as needed to maintain a safe environment. Driving clients to appointments or social outings as required. Maintaining accurate records of client care and reporting any concerns to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Caregiver position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or home care is highly desirable. Knowledge of senior care practices, including Alzheimer's and dementia care. Certification in first aid is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping others. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges. A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting clients. Flexibility in working hours to accommodate client needs. Pay: 12.75-13.45 per hour
