Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential support to healthcare professionals and assist in delivering high-quality patient care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients and contribute to their overall well-being.

Duties:

- Assist healthcare professionals in providing direct patient care

- Help patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team

- Assist with mobility and transferring patients safely

- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment

- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients

- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff

- Document patient information accurately and timely

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or in a similar role is preferred

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Compassionate and empathetic nature

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus

- CPR certification is desirable

Skills:

- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families

- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and patient care

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Physical stamina to perform duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time

- Knowledge of infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
