Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team in providing high-quality care to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. Duties

Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and mobility assistance. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Assist with behaviour management for clients with Alzheimer's or dementia-related conditions. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote their physical and mental well-being. Document care provided and report any changes in client conditions to the appropriate personnel. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations while providing care.

Requirements

Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as senior care, hospice care, or home care is preferred. Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and patient care best practices is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when assisting clients with mobility. Certification in first aid is an advantage. A valid driving licence is preferred for roles requiring transportation of clients. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
