We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. Responsibilities

Deliver personalised patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility. Support clients with medication administration following prescribed protocols. Assist with meal preparation and feeding to ensure nutritional needs are met. Manage behaviour effectively, especially in clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being. Support clients with activities of daily living, including light housekeeping tasks. Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safety at all times. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to supervising staff. Implement health and safety procedures diligently, including first aid when necessary. Assist with specialised care such as hospice or palliative support for terminally ill patients.

Experience

Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care is preferred. Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, and hospice care is advantageous. Proven caregiving experience with elderly or vulnerable individuals is desirable. Certification in first aid or medication administration is a plus. Experience with behaviour management techniques for clients with cognitive impairments is beneficial. Valid driving licence and ability to drive clients safely are preferred but not essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, patience, empathy, and organisational abilities. A commitment to providing high-quality care and maintaining client dignity is essential for success in this role.

Pay: 12.21-24.16 per hour
