Responsibilities

Deliver personalised patient care, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support Assist with medication administration following prescribed protocols Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as required Manage behaviour and provide emotional support for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive impairments Facilitate activities that promote mental and physical well-being Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment Support clients with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety at all times Monitor health conditions and report any concerns promptly to healthcare professionals Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with team members

Qualifications

Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home care is highly desirable Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's care and behaviour management techniques Training in care certificate is required. Valid driving licence is advantageous for roles involving transportation to clients Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach towards elderly or vulnerable individuals Ability to perform safe manual handling and assist with mobility needs Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in record keeping and medication administration Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment

Pay: 12.21-12.80 per hour
