Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care settings, such as nursing homes or care homes, and possess the skills necessary to promote the well-being and dignity of our clients. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, ensuring they receive the support they need in a respectful and nurturing environment.

Please note: candidate must have a valid driving license, be willing to be registered self employed initially. We do not accept sponsorship at this time.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere. Implement behaviour management strategies when necessary to promote a calm environment. Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and family members. Ensure a safe living environment by adhering to health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.

Qualifications

Previous experience in nursing homes, senior care, or home care settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of medication administration procedures and behaviour management techniques is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining care plans and documentation. A valid first aid certification is preferred but not mandatory; training can be provided. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live comfortably and independently.
