As a Dom Carer, you will assist clients with personal care, daily living activities, companionship, and health-related tasks, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and respected at all times.

Key Responsibilities
Provide
personal care and support
, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Support clients with
mobility and transfers
, ensuring safety and comfort.
Administer or prompt medication in line with care plans and company policy.
Implement
behaviour management techniques
where required to meet individual needs.
Prepare and serve meals, supporting with feeding where necessary.
Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
Monitor and record client wellbeing, including
vital signs and health changes
, reporting concerns promptly.
Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support to reduce loneliness and promote mental wellbeing.
Engage clients in meaningful activities to stimulate independence and quality of life.
Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues to deliver tailored care plans.

Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in
domiciliary care, senior care, or community support
is preferred.
NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards) is desirable.
Knowledge of
first aid
and safe handling practices is advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathetic, patient, and able to remain calm under pressure.
Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be willing to undergo training, DBS checks, and any required certifications.
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
