Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Support clients in following their care plans and maintaining their health and wellbeing
Provide companionship and emotional support, creating a positive and trusting environment
Help with meal preparation and ensure clients receive adequate nutrition
Assist with mobility and physical activities, ensuring client safety at all times
Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team
Drive clients to appointments or social engagements when needed
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the client's living space
Carry out specialist care, including
PEG feeding, and stoma care
, Catheter care in line with individual care plans and training
Skills & Requirements
Proficient in English, both spoken and written, for effective communication
Experience in home care or residential care settings is desirable but not essential
Ability to understand and implement person-centred care plans
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and families
Basic IT skills to maintain records and communicate with the team
A valid driving licence is preferred
Mandatory training in PEG feeding, and stoma care
