Job Overview
Carers to provide care in service users homes, providing dignity and promote independence for a long as possible and is safe to do so.
Duties
Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Follow individual care plans tailored to each persons needs. Complete visit notes to reflect what has taken place during the call and report any changes to management. Communicate with families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Drive service users to appointments or when on sits service users may want to go for a drive or go out for some food/shopping. Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity while providing compassionate assistance.
Training will be provided and shadow shifts will be required with experienced carers.
