Here at Quayside Care are looking for exceptional individual(s) to join our wonderful team to enable us to meet the current level of need within Pembrokeshire.
This vacancy is a full time vacancy working within the Tenby and surrounding areas working on full and established route.
The successful applicant(s) will be caring, compassionate, honest, reliable and enthusiastic.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Personal Care
Medication Management
Meal Preparation
Light Domestic Duties
Emotional Support
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a disclosure and barring check. The cost of the DBS will be fully funded by us.
No experience required as full training, induction and support will be given which is fully paid and funded by us.
Rates of Pay
There is a Probationary Hourly Rate of 12.25 per hour Monday-Sunday for Care and Travel Time, and following on from the successful completion of the Probationary Period, the hourly rate will increase to 13.25 per hour, Monday - Sunday for Care and Travel Time. The probationary period is a 6 month period.
Fuel expenses are paid at 45p per mile travelled.
Care time is paid at double time on Bank Holidays.
All of the above will credit your bank accounts every Friday in line with weekly pay.
Holiday entitlement is 5.6 weeks per year, running from January to December.
We have enrolled in a scheme with BUPA which offers a free Mental Health Service for employees of Quayside Care and any other individual over the age of 16 that shares a household with the employee.
All mandatory training is funded by us, and the employee is paid fully for training, we also have opportunities for work based career progression fully funded by us too!
Social Care Wales registration is supported by us.
