Scotland-wide (Office based in Glasgow - covering all mainland Health Boards)
Salary:
50,000-55,000 per annum (pro rata if part-time), dependent on experience
Bonus:
Generous bonus scheme + 150 for monthly away trip

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Domiciliary Optometrist
to join our growing team, providing high-quality eye care in care homes and patients' homes across Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for an optometrist who values patient-centred care and enjoys working within a supportive, collaborative team - all without the pressures of retail targets or weekend clinics.

About the Role:
Providing domiciliary eye care across Scotland, primarily within care homes (occasional home visits)
Covering 11 Health Boards, with travel coordinated across the team)
All clinic logistics - including scheduling, patient information, and documentation - are arranged in advance by our dedicated office team
Monthly away trips limited to one 3-day visit (Grampian or Highlands)
Optical Assistant support at every visit, including patient pre-testing, dispensing and driving
Contracted hours are 8:30am-5:30pm, though clinics often conclude earlier

GOC-registered Optometrist with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in a domiciliary setting and confident in patient-led care
Enjoys working as part of a supportive team and contributing to improving access to eye care for vulnerable patients
