We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Door Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with clients, support sales initiatives, and contribute to the growth of our business. Responsibilities
Assist customers in selecting internal doors and related hardware
Provide product knowledge on styles, sizes, materials, and finishes
Advise on measurements, fitting requirements, and compatibility
Prepare quotes and process sales orders
Liason with delivery team for despatch of confirmed sales
Maintain showroom displays and stock presentation
Handle customer enquiries in-store and by phone
Coordinate with warehouse and installers for order fulfilment
Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction
Requirements
Previous retail or sales experience (DIY, building materials, or home improvement preferred)
Knowledge of internal doors, ironmongery, or carpentry products (or willingness to learn fast)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to advise on measurements and basic fitting requirements
Confident using POS systems and preparing quotes
Good numeracy and attention to detail
Friendly, professional, and target-driven
Ability to work weekends and retail hours
Reliable and well-presented
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 15.00-17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 42 - 48 per week
