Overview

We are seeking dedicated and vigilant Door Staff to join our team. The primary role of the Door Staff is to ensure the safety and security of our premises while providing a welcoming environment for guests. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle various situations with professionalism.

Responsibilities

Monitor entry and exit points to prevent unauthorised access. Conduct regular surveillance of the premises using CCTV systems. Assist in loss prevention by identifying suspicious behaviour and taking appropriate action. Provide first aid assistance when necessary and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Greet guests upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere. Collaborate with security personnel to maintain a secure environment. Report any incidents or irregularities to management promptly. Maintain a visible presence to deter potential issues and reassure guests.

Requirements

Individual must hold SIA License. Previous experience in a security or door staff role is preferred. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and surveillance practices. Certification in first aid is advantageous. Strong observational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
