Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and professional

Door Supervisor

to work at a busy public house on

Friday and Saturday nights

. The successful candidate will have proven experience in door supervision and customer service, with a strong ability to manage customer interactions in a friendly, firm, and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

Managing entry and exit of customers in line with venue policies Ensuring the safety and security of customers, staff, and premises Providing excellent customer service while maintaining authority Dealing confidently and professionally with challenging situations Preventing and de-escalating conflict when required Monitoring customer behaviour and intoxication levels Working closely with bar staff and management Enforcing licensing laws and venue rules at all times

Requirements

Valid

SIA Door Supervisor Licence

Proven experience working doors in a

public house or similar venue

Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to remain calm under pressure Professional appearance and attitude Good conflict management and problem-solving skills Reliable and punctual Right to work in the UK

Desirable

Experience in busy, late-night environments First Aid qualification (preferred but not essential)
