We are looking for a professional, reliable, and customer-focused

Door Supervisor

to join our team at a busy city centre fast food location. You'll play a key role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff, while helping to manage queues, prevent incidents, and support the smooth running of the venue -- especially during peak trading hours.

This position will have a range of dayshift, evening shifts and nightshifts, paid at a rate of 13.75 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide a visible and reassuring security presence at the entrance and within the premises. Ensure the safety and welfare of customers and staff at all times. Control access to the venue and manage customer flow, especially during busy periods. Monitor customer behaviour and intervene where necessary to prevent conflict or antisocial behaviour. De-escalate situations calmly and professionally when required. Work closely with management and team members to maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive environment. Record and report any incidents or issues in line with company procedures. Comply fully with SIA regulations, licensing laws, and health & safety requirements.

Requirements

Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence

(essential).

Good standard of spoken and written English

- able to communicate clearly with customers, colleagues, and emergency services. Previous experience in a door supervision or security role (preferably in hospitality, nightlife, or fast-paced environments). Strong customer service skills - friendly, approachable, and professional. Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle challenging situations. Reliable, punctual, and well-presented. Able to work effectively as part of a team and follow direction when needed.
