Purpose of the Role:
To ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all guests, performers, and staff, while upholding the venue's high standards of professionalism, hospitality, and compliance with licensing laws. The role is a key part of maintaining the venue's reputation as a safe, welcoming, and high-quality entertainment environment.
Key Responsibilities
Security & Safety
Monitor venue entrances and exits to control access and prevent entry of unauthorised individuals.
Check guest identification to ensure compliance with age restrictions and licensing conditions.
Conduct respectful and lawful searches when required.
Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies, ensuring the safety of all parties.
Monitor CCTV and security systems as directed.
Customer Service
Provide a professional and courteous first point of contact for all guests.
Manage queues and maintain an orderly entry process.
Handle customer enquiries and defuse situations with diplomacy and tact.
Compliance & Reporting
Follow all company security protocols and licensing requirements.
Maintain accurate incident and refusal logs.
Assist in ensuring the venue complies with fire safety and health & safety regulations. Teamwork & Venue Support
Work closely with management, bar staff, and performers to maintain a positive and secure working environment.
Support crowd management during peak times, special events, or performances. o Assist with evacuation procedures if required.

Skills & Attributes Required
SIA Door Supervisor License (valid and in date).
Strong observational skills and situational awareness.
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
Calm under pressure and able to make quick, sound decisions.
Professional appearance and demeanor, representing the brand's high standards.
Reliability, punctuality, and integrity.
Desirable Experience
Previous experience in a high-end hospitality or entertainment venue.
First Aid at Work qualification.
Knowledge of licensing laws and venue security best practice.
