Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and professional Door Supervisor to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patrons and staff within the premises. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle various situations with composure. The Door Supervisor will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Monitor entry and exit points to ensure only authorised individuals gain access to the premises. Conduct thorough checks of bags and personal items as required, ensuring compliance with security protocols. Utilise CCTV systems to monitor activities within the venue, identifying any suspicious behaviour or potential threats. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property. Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of all patrons. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies. Maintain a visible presence to deter anti-social behaviour and provide reassurance to patrons. Prepare incident reports detailing any occurrences or breaches of security protocols.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a security role or as a Door Supervisor is preferred. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and surveillance systems, including CCTV operation. First Aid certification is highly desirable; candidates should be willing to obtain certification if not already held. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of interacting positively with diverse groups of people. A valid SIA licence is essential for this position.
