Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our events team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security at our venue, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. As a Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for monitoring entry points, managing crowd control, and implementing loss prevention strategies.

Duties

Monitor the entrance and exit points of the venue to ensure the safety of guests and staff. Conduct thorough checks of bags and personal items as required. Implement effective crowd control measures during peak times or events. Provide assistance in emergency situations, including administering first aid when necessary. Maintain clear communication with team members to ensure a cohesive approach to security. Prepare incident reports detailing any occurrences or breaches of security.

Requirements

Previous experience in a security role is preferred, particularly in a supervisory capacity, minimum of 3 years experience Certification in first aid is highly desirable, as well as ACT and WAVE certification. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence is required for this position. 5 years of checkable work history
