Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and vigilant Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring access points, maintaining order, and providing excellent customer service. The Door Supervisor will play a crucial part in safeguarding the venue while delivering a welcoming experience for all guests.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying identification and ensuring only authorised individuals enter. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity within and around the venue. Perform loss prevention duties by identifying suspicious behaviour and preventing theft or unauthorised access. Maintain a visible presence at entry points, providing assistance and information to visitors as needed. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including administering first aid when necessary. Enforce venue policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Keep detailed records of incidents or irregularities during shifts for reporting purposes. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and uphold high standards of security.

Qualifications

Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of CCTV operation, loss prevention techniques, and surveillance methods is advantageous. Valid first aid certification is desirable to handle medical emergencies effectively. Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or unsociable hours if required. A professional demeanour with a customer-focused approach.
